Initiated in the 1990s and extending across approximately 10 kilometres of waterfront, the project integrates a wide range of hospitality, residential and leisure components — including hotels, the renowned Abu Tig Marina, and an extensive collection of private villas — contributing to the creation of one of the Red Sea’s most distinctive and internationally recognised destinations.

Abu Tig Marina

A waterfront destination at the heart of El Gouna

Abu Tig Marina Town was conceived in response to El Gouna’s unique marine and coral landscape, requiring the marina basin to be excavated inland. Designed as a central waterfront destination, the project integrates approximately 30,000 sqm of mixed-use residential and commercial spaces organised around the marina. Restaurants and retail units activate the ground-floor promenade with terraces overlooking the waterfront, while upper-floor residences benefit from panoramic marina and sea views. Inspired by traditional Yemeni architecture reinterpreted through a contemporary lens, the project combines regional identity with modern coastal living.

Hill Club House

Resort living on the beachfront

Located on the beachfront area of El Gouna’s Hill compound, the Club House serves as a public amenity for Hill Villa residents and an extension of services for the adjacent Mövenpick Hotel. The programme includes pools, a health club, overhead terraces and a restaurant — all designed to complement the residential character of the surrounding villas.
