What we collect

This website does not use profiling cookies or third-party advertising trackers. When you use the contact form, we collect the personal data you voluntarily provide: name, email address, and message content. Our hosting and infrastructure providers (see "Third parties" below) may also process limited technical data such as IP address, browser type, and access timestamps as part of standard server logs.

Why we process it (legal basis)

We process contact form data on the basis of Article 6(1)(b) UK GDPR / EU GDPR (steps taken at your request prior to entering into a contract) and, where applicable, Article 6(1)(f) (our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries). Providing this data is voluntary, but without it we cannot respond to your request.

How long we keep it

Contact form submissions are retained for up to 12 months from the last exchange, unless a longer period is required to pursue a professional relationship or comply with a legal obligation, after which the data is deleted.

Third parties and international transfers

This website is hosted on Vercel Inc., a US-based infrastructure provider, which processes technical/server log data as part of hosting the site. Where personal data is transferred outside the UK or EEA, this is done under appropriate safeguards, including the UK International Data Transfer Addendum / EU Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy framework such as the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, as applicable. We do not sell or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Partner Access

FDJ operates a private "Partner Access" area for partners, investors and project collaborators to view project information shared with them. Access is controlled by a personal code; no account registration or email address is required to use it.

When you use Partner Access, we process: an internal reference to the code used (not the code itself, and never your name unless you choose to identify yourself through it); the timestamp and outcome (success, failure, or lockout) of each access attempt; your acceptance of the confidentiality and privacy terms shown after a successful code entry; and a hashed identifier derived from your network address, used only to enforce a temporary limit on repeated failed attempts and automatically deleted after 2 hours. We do not store your raw IP address, browser or device information beyond this.

This processing is necessary to secure the private area and to keep a record of access for transparency and governance — for example, to demonstrate who accessed which project information and when. Our legal basis is legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR / EU GDPR).

Access logs are stored with Upstash (EU region) as our database processor; the site itself is hosted with Vercel Inc. as described above. Retention period for access logs: to be confirmed — the newest 5,000 events are kept and older events are automatically discarded.

Cookies

This site does not use profiling or advertising cookies. Any cookies present are strictly necessary for the site to function correctly. The Partner Access area sets one such cookie to keep you signed in once you enter a valid code; it is strictly necessary (it cannot be disabled while still using Partner Access), contains no information beyond an internal code reference, your role and an expiry, and automatically expires after 2 hours.

Your rights

Under the UK GDPR and, where applicable, the EU GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, please contact us through the contact form on this website, specifying your request.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or, if you are located in the EU, with your local data protection authority.
